Job Description – Maintenance Technician – 3rd shift
Looking for a hard-working, self-motivated, key player to add to our growing team! We pride ourselves on our excellent leadership, work environment, and pay/benefits.
Starting pay is $23-$32/hour based on experience.
The maintenance technician is responsible for performing highly diversified tasks to install, troubleshoot, repair and maintain production and facility equipment in a safe and efficient manner to support the achievement of the company’s business goals and objectives.
- Install, maintain and upgrade production machines and the plant facility’s equipment.
- Provide emergency/unscheduled repairs of production equipment during production and performs scheduled maintenance repairs of production equipment during machine service.
- Perform mechanic skills including, but not limited to mechanical, pneumatic, hydraulic, welding, troubleshooting and repair of production machines.
- Perform basic electrical skills including but not limited to troubleshooting and repair of motors, blown fuses, tripped breakers and faulty wiring.
- Perform simple machinist duties and responsibilities.
- Read and interpret equipment manuals and work orders to perform required maintenance and service.
- Diagnose problems, replace or repair parts, test and make adjustments.

Required Education and Experience
- High school diploma/GED
- Completion of a craft apprenticeship, or an equivalent number of years of education and production maintenance experience preferred.

Physical Requirements:
Standing / walking -100% of the time.

Full Job Description
The Maintenance Supervisor will assist the Maintenance Manager with the planning and preparation of projects/major repairs, orient and train new and current maintenance personnel, review the work of maintenance employees, and assist technicians as necessary. Additionally, this position will perform highly diversified tasks to install, troubleshoot, repair, and maintain production and facility equipment.
Qualifications
- Associate degree in engineering or a business-related field preferred.
- Minimum of 5 year of experience in a technical or maintenance field preferred.
- Strong electrical background required, apprenticeship or technical school training desirable.
- Proven ability to lead, coach, and build strong relationships with team members.
- Demonstrated skills in problem-solving, planning, decision-making, and multitasking.
- Ability to work under deadlines and on a flexible schedule.
- Strong math and computer skills.
Essential Functions
- Lead, direct, and support maintenance technicians across all shifts.
- Ensure compliance with all safety requirements; promote safe work practices, including lockout/tagout.
- Maintain clean and orderly work areas and participate in required training and team meetings.
- Evaluate workload and assign tasks effectively based on operational needs.
- Monitor technician performance, provide coaching, and take corrective actions when necessary.
- Assist the Maintenance Planner/Buyer in identifying parts needs and planning work orders.
