Tri Star Metals is a leading manufacturing and distributor of specialty stainless steel wire and bar products. We are looking for an experienced, self-motivated, driven person to support our Accounts Payable team in our Aurora, IL. Office. We pride ourselves on our comfortable and casual office environment.
- Receive, audit invoices and requisitions for material based off Vendor Purchase order.
- Verify that transactions comply with financial policies and procedures.
- Manually prepare batches and GL code and fixed asset invoices for data entry.
- Manually enter and upload large volume of invoice data for payment.
- Prepare the weekly file for checks and wire payments.
- Maintain and update vendor files.
- Learn and cover back up for A/R and A/P.
- 3way matching and GL coding a must.
- End of month closing.
Qualifications:
High School Diploma, minimum
1 year accounting experience, manufacturing experience preferred.
Working knowledge of accounting software, MS Office – Word, Intermediate EXCEL, Access, Outlook.

Job Description – Maintenance Technician – 1st shift

Starting pay is $22-$30/hour based on experience.
The maintenance technician is responsible for performing highly diversified tasks to install, troubleshoot, repair and maintain production and facility equipment in a safe and efficient manner to support the achievement of the company’s business goals and objectives.
- Install, maintain and upgrade production machines and the plant facility’s equipment.
- Provide emergency/unscheduled repairs of production equipment during production and performs scheduled maintenance repairs of production equipment during machine service.
- Perform mechanic skills including, but not limited to mechanical, pneumatic, hydraulic, welding, troubleshooting and repair of production machines.
- Perform basic electrical skills including but not limited to troubleshooting and repair of motors, blown fuses, tripped breakers and faulty wiring.
- Perform simple machinist duties and responsibilities.
- Read and interpret equipment manuals and work orders to perform required maintenance and service.
- Diagnose problems, replace or repair parts, test and make adjustments.

Job Description-Electrical Maintenance Engineer
The Tri Star Metals Electrical Maintenance Engineer will be expected to perform maintenance on plant manufacturing equipment and electrical systems. They will also be responsible for design and installation of equipment retrofits. This individual will often work autonomously with little supervision but will also need to work within the framework of a team environment. They will also be responsible for training plant Maintenance Technicians in electrical troubleshooting and repair. the electrical troubleshooting and repair. The Electrical Maintenance Engineer will report directly to the Director of Engineering and Maintenance. This is primarily a first shift position but will be expected to be on call for plant breakdowns.
Duties and Responsibilities:
- Perform Scheduled Maintenance
- Troubleshoot equipment malfunctions
- Repair equipment and plant electrical systems
- Test electronics
- Design equipment upgrades
- Build machine control panels
Skills and Qualification:
- Ability to program AC and DC drives
- Ability to program PLC’s experience with Siemens PLC’s preferred
- Ability operate a wide range of electrical test equipment to include:
- Multimeters, power monitors, infrared imaging tools, etc.
- Ability to use AutoCad
- Associates Degree in Electrical Engineering preferred
- At least 5-years experience as an Industrial Electrical Engineer, Preferred
